Doug Wood
COACH | PROJECT LEAD
As Co-Leader of the BHPAC project, Doug oversees the construction and development of the facility, helping ensure it is built to world-class standards for athlete training and performance.
A former Canadian Olympic pole vaulter, Doug was a member of the 1992 Canadian Olympic Team and a silver medalist at the 1991 Pan American Games. His lifetime best of 5.65m ranks second all-time in Canada, and he held the Canadian record for 25 years, from 1989 to 2014.

Barry Fenton
CONSTRUCTION & PLANNING ADVISOR
A respected leader in large-scale real estate and project execution, Barry advises on strategic planning and development for the BHPAC, guiding the project toward long-term sustainability.

FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Provides financial and strategic guidance for the project’s investment structure and long-term funding model, supporting the growth and success of Bolton Athletics.
COACHING STAFF
Zdenek Krykorka (Zeke)
Zeke started coaching in Canada in 1984 and is one of the premier Pole Vault minds in Canada. He represented Canada as a Pole Vault Coach and the Commonwealth Games and World Championships. During his coaching career he has coached 9 vaulters over 5.00m including Olympian Doug Wood (5.65m).
Jason Wurster
Jason’s personal best of 5.60m ranks him third all-time as a Canadian. He is a six time Canadian Champion and a three time OFSAA Champion. Jason has represented Canada at the Pan Am Games, Commonwealth Games, Francophone Games and FISU Games.
